I remember the exercises Marjorie suggested for good posture as we age – walking with dignity and style and not developing bad posture habits. So many other things too: joining with others in activities to keep in touch, tips on finding a new place to live, and healthy diets for your brain and body.
At The Arthritis Society, we are pleased to have Marjorie as one of our facilitators for our on-going programs we offer to the public on arthritis and chronic pain. Marjorie is an engaging, thoughtful and intelligent speaker who can connect with participants and offer a safe and fun environment for learning. She is a pleasure to work with and has a wealth of knowledge to share.
I liked the whole talk. It brought up subjects that hadn't even crossed my mind.
Marjorie is easy to speak to. She has a good sense of humor. Very uplifting.
This was a lively, engaging and intelligent course about something I've been avoiding - aging. I can really recommend Marjorie's course.
Loved the enthusiasm!
Positive aging is a necessity. Thank goodness for Marjorie!
Marjorie's comments made me feel better about myself.
Marjorie's honesty and style of presentation makes this course enjoyable.
I am so thrilled to read your newsletters. It is wonderful to read uplifting things instead of all the negative. I knew you were/are an excellent source for gardening info and now I am discovering the awesome Positive Guru also 🙂 Thanks for the Bright Light.
Marjorie Willison’s course, “Aging Well” was great. She covered all kinds of important issues like community assistance, lifestyle, health, and psychological and social issues. Each class was really a discussion group where Marjorie encouraged us all to ask questions and give opinions and examples, but she also provided us with evidence from studies and ideas from experts in the field. It was interesting, informative and fun, and her classes were lively and satisfying for everybody.
